Isle of Gigha Calender 2009

The Gigha calendar is a great opportunity to get a flavour of our wee island and support the work of the Trust.  It really is a collector’s item. The gallery below shows some of Simon McComb’s amazing photography and the impressions he had of Gigha folk.

To purchase, either ring Audrey in the Trust Office on 01583 505390, or press the PayPal button below.

Rob and Jim have a blether with a talkative halibut at the island’s organic fish farm.

It’s not too difficult to find a peaceful and tranquil spot on the island, with twenty shades of blue in our amazing seascapes.

Vi is the oldest person on Gigha at 88 and a great advert for the Gigha lifestyle.

Visitors seem to be swept off their feet at the sheer beauty of our island at the ceilidh after the annual raft race Here Billy the Barman offers up a wee dram (or an entire bottle for those of us who want more) of our limited edition Spirit of Gigha malt whisky. Gigha is famous for its friendly hospitality.

Our frost-free climate on the island allows us to grow palms and tree ferns. Garden Manager Micky is rightfully proud of the recent improvements to Achamore gardens and welcomes visitors at any time of year.
