Gigha is very has excellent travel links and is very easy to get
to.

From overseas, you should book a flight to Glasgow, Edinburgh or
London. For bargain flights between London and Glasgow or Edinburgh,

Gigha has its own grass airstrip which is near the south end of
the island lying in an east/west direction. The airfield can be
used by private planes and microlights. The landing fee for single
engine planes is £15 and £25 for twin engines. This
includes transport to and from Gigha Hotel and anyone who chooses
to stay overnight at the Hotel will get a £5 reduction on
this charge. The landing fee for microlights is £3. We ask
that all pilots phone the hotel on 01583 505254 for ppl and to check
conditions on the field.

Glasgow International Airport is the nearest airport to Gigha,
just 2.5 hours drive from Tayinloan. You can hire a car from the

From the Airport, take the signs to Erskine Bridge (M8). Once across
the bridge take the A82 Westbound to Dumbarton. Once through Dumbarton,
keep on the A82 along the beautiful shores of Loch Lomond. At Tarbet,
the A82 beomes the A83, signposted Campbeltown - follow this road
through some of the most scenic countryside in until you come to
Tayinloan, approximately 80 miles. The ferry is well signposted
from the main road.

The nearest train connection for Gigha is Arachar on the shores
of Loch Long - a connection can be made there with the Scottish
