Cherries, Rowans and Birch produce a wealth of spring flowers, autumn foliage and berries, and in the winter the bark of the Birch is very attractive. Also planted here are Libertia Grandiflora (the New Zealand iris), Hydrangeas and Azaleas. The trees include Betula Costata, B. Jaquemontii, B. Papyrifera (paper birch), B. Platyphlla, B. Utilis (Himalayan Birch), Prunus Avium Plena (Double Gean), P x Yedoensis (Yoshino Cherry), Sorbus Discolour, S Foliolosa, S. Matsumurana, S. Cahmiriana, S. Esser-teauana, S. Randaiensis and S. Scopulina.
