Self-Catering
Accommodation via the Gigha Hotel
The Gigha Hotel has a
variety of self-catering cottages dotted over the island.
Offering stunning views, these cottages offer a variety of capacities
to suit all parties.
Ferry
Crofts - Overlooking the picturesque Ardminish Bay and Sound
of Gigha to the mainland, these two open plan cottages are ideally
located to explore the fascinating Island of Gigha. Each croft affords
excellent views of the Boathouse beach and the bustling yacht anchorage,
which in the summer is a profusion of colour. The crofts provide
extremely comfortable accommodation, each sleeping four with two
single beds on the upstairs gallery and a bed sofa/single bed downstairs.
Ferrymans
- The Ferryman's House is ideally located close to the ferry slip,
the beach and the well stocked local shop. This spacious house can
comfortably sleep five with two bedrooms: one double bedroom and
the second, containing three single beds.
Ardailly
- Once you leave the ferry head towards the north of the island,
travelling past the nine hole golf course onto an estate road at
Druimyeon More Farm which takes you towards the west coast and our
remotest holiday house, Ardailly. The house stands just 700 yards
from the shoreline and offers unrivalled views of the islands of
Islay and Jura. This extremely comfortable house sleeps five and
has a full inventory.
South
Ardminsh - South Ardminish is a spacious and extremely comfortable
cottage superbly located close to Ardminish Village. There are truly
breathtaking views over the Ardminish Bay and the Mull of Kintyre
beyond. The cottage is very well furnished and will comfortably
sleep 5 in one twin, one double and one single room.
South
Lodge - Dating from 1895, this charming "little Achamore House"
is full of character and is ideally placed to experience the abundant
wildlife within the area. The spacious lodge sleeps eight comfortably
and is ideal for a large family or two families sharing.
